X/Y PAL: A Game-Changer in Visual Programming
X/Y PAL by Daniel Bruegge redefines visual programming with its intuitive interface, making it accessible for beginners while powerful enough for professionals.
X/Y PAL is an aesthetically pleasing X/Y pad MIDI controller designed for precise control of up to 8 parameters per pad. Each parameter offers extensive customization options including setting MIDI Channel and control change message, defining the CC value range, assigning a color and a name, selecting the MIDI output device, and inverting the CC value mapping.
When operating on an iPad, users can view and interact with up to 4 pads in landscape mode and up to 2 pads in portrait mode. On an iPhone, simultaneous control of 2 visible pads is supported.
Enhance your user experience by choosing CC value mappings from a curated list of predefined devices while constructing personalized pads to suit your needs. Visual feedback on CC value changes is provided through bars located alongside each pad.
CONFIGURE PARAMETERS
- Personalize X/Y Pads through the settings section.
- Edit individual parameters by selecting them via the sidebar in the settings section.
- Utilize a preselected device list for quick assignment of CC values and names, or manually input custom information.
- Adjust parameter colors by simply clicking on the color button.
- Toggle CC value mappings by activating the inverse button for a parameter.
- Select specific MIDI outputs for each parameter.
- Define the CC value range for each parameter to tailor your setup.
